Background of OHRM
The Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) is part of the administrative unit of Assumption University, located at De Montfort Building (D1), Huamak Campus and St. Michael’s Building (SM107), Suvarnabhumi Campus. The main mission of OHRM is the human resources management and development to be efficient and effective by providing services that respond to customers’ expectations with accuracy, speed, and make a good impression on users.
First established, OHRM is the “Personnel Division” integrated with the Administration department. Shortly after, it had transferred under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs and named to the “Personnel Department”. As the university enlarged, the structure had adjusted for suitability in order as follows.

The “Personnel Department” had changed the name to “The Office of Human Resource Management” and restructured five divisions into three departments, namely

The office had reorganized the structure works and combined into two departments, namely

2008 |
Restructuring of university administrative, the office had transferred under the direct jurisdiction of the Office of the Rector and changed the name from “The Office of Human Resource Management” to “The Office of Human Resources Management”. |

2012 |
The office had renamed the “Staff Management / Benefits and Welfare department” to the “Staff Management and Services department” until present. |
The services of OHRM consist of recruitment, personnel management, personnel ID card, faculty room and mailbox, time record control, benefits and welfare, social security, work reference and job certificate, training seminar and project allowance, scholarship, international relations for work permits and passports, legal works, payroll and tax, volunteer remuneration, information and document supports.
