Subject: Personal Data Protection Policy B.E.2564(2021)

The collection, use, processing, or disclosure of personal data are basic activities the University needs to undertake. Such activities include student recruitment, teaching and learning, employment of personnel, research, academic service, and other activities related to students, alumni, and participants of those activities. To assure that the personal data collected, used, processed, or disclosed by the University is effectively protected, the University is obliged to take responsibility in the protection of all data collected and processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562.
The President - Rector Magnificus of Assumption University, empowered under the provisions in Article 43 of the Private Higher Education Institutions Act B.E. 2546 Amendment (No. 2) B.E. 2550 has thus issued the following Personal Data Protection Policy:

เรื่อง นโยบายการคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล พ.ศ. ๒๕๖๔

โดยที่การจัดเก็บ รวบรวม ใช้ ประมวลผล หรือเปิดเผยข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล เป็นกิจกรรมขั้นพื้นฐานที่มหาวิทยาลัยจำเป็นต้องดำเนินการ เช่น การรับสมัครนักศึกษา การจัดการเรียนการสอน การจ้างบุคลากร การวิจัย การให้บริการทางวิชาการ การจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับนักศึกษา ศิษย์เก่า บุคคลภายนอกที่ร่วมกิจกรรม เป็นต้น ซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยต้องมีหน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบต่อการเก็บรักษาการประมวลผลข้อมูลทั้งปวงตามกฎหมาย เพื่อให้เจ้าของข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลเชื่อมั่นว่าข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลที่มหาวิทยาลัยจัดเก็บ รวบรวม ใช้ ประมวลผลหรือเปิดเผยข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลได้รับการคุ้มครองอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานที่กำหนดไว้ในพระราชบัญญัติคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล พ.ศ. ๒๕๖๒
อาศัยอำนาจตามความในมาตรา ๔๓ แห่งพระราชบัญญัติสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชน พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๖ แก้ไขเพิ่มเติม (ฉบับที่ ๒) พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๐ อธิการบดีจึงออกประกาศนโยบายการคุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลไว้ ดังนี้
